Appearance
is a big factor in building one's personality and a big factor in selling as well. The Real Estate Agent is a person who poses as an expert in Real Estate and in fact he must act like one. He must advise with authority. To go hand in hand with appearance is a pleasing personality; a smiling face not moved by the commission one gets but a geninue love of service.
 
    But the highly successful Real Estate Agent of today (now popularly called Property consultant) far goes beyond appearance and a smiling personality. Appearance should not be perceived by the eyes alone but all of the senses. For example even in telephone conversation to answer initial inquiry creates an apperance of you by your prospect's senses. Therefore, the courteous habit of speaking together with adequate knowledge of real estate development you are respresenting is a must. Experience proved that buyers have a keen sense of knowing your competence and desirability to represent them by just a few seconds talking with them on the phone. If you are not prepared for this, you often hear the words like "I'll call you back" out of courtesy but you wonder why they never do.
